“ I love this diner so much! Where else can you get amazing comfort food in a truly down-home atmosphere with the Bob Ross Channel playing on the TV? The food, two of us enjoyed offerings off of the breakfast menu at 7pm, was tasty and plentiful! Home cooking at its finest. They have lots of outdoor seating, but we chose to sit in the air conditioned comfort of their tiny but comfortable indoor dining area. When I first walked in and noticed the wood paneling, took in the smells wafting in from the kitchen and saw Bob Ross painting his happy little trees I felt right at home. Our server was charming and attentive, which was unique in Townsend, TN…almost every eatery we tried didn’t have serving staff. I’m envious of the townsfolk who can eat here anytime they want. Pls try it if you haven’t! ”
“ Suited towards small crowds indoors - 2 to 4 people, but more seating outdoors for larger groups (weather permitting). Staff is always friendly and the food never disappoints. Homestyle food tastes homemade. ”
“ Great restaurant! Menu is American classics, but there are some fun twists. Full menu all day, but no pancakes after 11. The place is tiny - maybe 16 seats inside - so, there may be a wait. But the staff is friendly and they keep things moving smoothly. There's a bunch of tables outside if you come on a warmer day! ”
“ Great food lovely outdoor country atmosphere near the river in Townsend. (If you have a large group just be patient and kind. It's a smaller locally owned place and it's definitely worth it.) The kids burger is huge. It's all delicious. Fish taco was so worth it. ”
“ This is the sort of restaurant we look for - a local place with personality and great food! We came for breakfast and tried their pancakes and the special, eggs Benedict. Both were excellent. Jennifer has a vibrant and warm personality and it's infectious! Before we left, we were cutting up with the other customers. Multiple opinions were shared about eggs Benedict! Inside is quaint with room for less than 20. Much more seating is available outside. The menu is simple Southern fare done well. You want fancy space and food, head to Knoxville. You want the sort of place the locals love, you come here. ”
